Habit
Low growing, trailing stems that can be trained up a frame or support, but normally allowed to hang down.

They make good hanging baskets.
Don’t be frightened to trim them if they get straggly.

Temperature
They are very adaptable, happy at room temperature but will also survive lower temperatures. Most ivies are hardy and can also grow outside.
They can also be used as summer bedding or patio plants.
Watering
In warm conditions water more often and mist the leaves, in a cool room you can allow the compost to dry out before watering.
Positon
Happy in the sun or light shade, in deep shade, the leaves will stretch and become limp.
Very tough, happy in the sun or part shade and easy to grow.
Very few bad habits, can grow too big, if straggly they need more light.
